CNH Industrial has once again partnered with SkSolarCoop to increase the size of their solar installation. Phase Two has roughly doubled the energy production on-site. The combined solar array provides approximately 12% of the energy needed by the plant while reducing the Green House Gas emissions by an additional 300 tonnes annually for CNHI.
The solar array continues to be a ‘behind the meter’ installation whereby the electricity produced is only used on site by CNH Industrial. Salt & Light Energy Ltd. installed the new system located at the CNH Industrial site. Construction began in August 2023 and production came online on Nov. 3, 2023.
